News and Announcements

Did you know that common intestinal parasites that dogs and cats may carry can cause human health hazards?  This is why our staff  requests you to bring in a fresh stool sample to your pet's wellness visit.  We are checking to see if any parasite eggs are currently being shed.  If eggs or parasites are present, we will dispense specific medication to clear up the infection.  Pets that spend any amount of time outdoors are at risk of exposure and we recommend preventive deworming on a regular basis. Your pet's monthly heartworm preventive serves a dual purpose in helping control intestinal worms as well as preventing heartworm disease.
